Shortly after I started at Harry’s, we launched in the U.K. We put out a campaign that combined illustration, still-life, and animation which ran on digital, in print, in many prominent OOH locations (including one with a giant beard made from actual hair), and on TV (just once, during a big-deal rugby match).
This little ditty aired in July, 2018 during a Lions Rugby Match. It is a bit different from your typical shaving ad.
This billboard, in Shoreditch, London, lent into the hipster location.
We also put a lot of ads on the Tube…
And in Canary Wharf…
And on buses…
We even made some beer mats.
The OOH was supported with a Youtube campaign.
We had a pre-launch announcement online.
And a homepage when we launched (obviously).
We sent out influencer kits and had some fun social teasers prior to launch.
